Pending RFI for Capital Project and Program Development Consultant

Management Consulting and Controls Group Inc.(MCCG) serves as a management and real estate consultant to businesses, not for profits and public entities in the tri state area and nationally and internationally via its Concordis Real Estate Affiliate. (www.concordisrealestate.com)

One of our clients is developing a state of the art business incubator and international trade complex in New York City with funding from its own resources as well as public and private grant and loan sources. As a result of this we will require an individual or a firm to provide program development services to the organization on a sub contracting but semi- autonomous basis, where they contractually report to MCCG but functionally to the client. The consultant will not be an employee of MCCG or the client and must have the resources to undertake and carry out the demands of a contracted consultancy with delayed or sequenced funding. This is a multi year, opportunity funded consultancy. 

 The requirement which will be issued on or around September 6, will require a respondent with proven experience at an executive level in program development to sustain capital projects, not for profit real estate development, intergovernmental relations, fund raising and grant writing, financial negotiations, academic presentations and a knowledge of diplomacy and international issues including NAFTA, CARICOM, CAFTA and Lome/Eurocom. The respondent will also be required to satisfy other independent criteria set by MCCG, including cultural competency, a network of New York City, Latin American and Caribbean contacts and bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish or French. An advanced degree in business, law, engineering, economics are preferred, however, professional licensing or an earned PhD degree is optional but not essential.
